About the tour
Come and join us on this fantastic 4 day break and witness the stunning beauty of Scotland’s Capital – Edinburgh and enjoy a spectacular performance of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Themed on “Journeys” the Royal Navy will take you on a journey through time, celebrating the tides of change. After a busy day and night a free morning will be much needed to relax before enjoying a 10 mile scenic steam train journey whilst enjoying a delicious cream tea along the way. The perfect weekend break!

Day 1:
We depart our local area and make our way to The King Robert Hotel in Stirling, stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops and arriving at our hotel in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.
Day 2:
After breakfast, we will have a leisurely morning to chill before enjoying our lunchtime meal at our hotel. After lunch, we then make our way into Edinburgh for some free time to explore this magnificent city before heading to Edinburgh Castle to enjoy the spectacular evening performance of the Edinburgh Tattoo. After our evening performance, we board our coach and make our way back to our hotel.
Day 3:
After breakfast and a leisurely morning, we depart our hotel and make our way to the Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway to board our afternoon steam train for a 10-mile scenic return journey to Manuel along the Forth Estuary, through woodlands, past waterfalls and over the Avon Viaduct whilst enjoying an afternoon tea of freshly made sandwiches, cakes, and scones with tea and coffee. After our relaxing afternoon, we return back to our hotel in time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.
Day 4:
After breakfast, we depart our hotel and make our way back to our local area, stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops.
