Turkey Tinsel – Isle Of Wight

Day 1 (Christmas Eve): We depart our local area and make our way to Portsmouth where you will have free time to explore this historical naval city before boarding our ferry over to the Isle of Wight. Once we arrive in Fishbourne, we make our way to The Trouville Hotel, Sandown where you will be greeted upon arrival with tea, coffee, and mince pies before being settled into your hotel room. Evening: You will have a relaxing evening in the hotel with plenty of time to enjoy your evening meal in the restaurant before enjoying a game of bingo in the ballroom.

Day 2 (Christmas Day): After breakfast, we depart our hotel and make our way to Shanklin Old Village, a small part of Shanklin where you will have free time to view some of the oldest dwellings on the island. After our free time in Shanklin, we then travel on to the White Mouse Inn situated on the South Coast of the Island for our lunchtime stop, where we will be able to enjoy the unbeatable ocean views before heading back to our hotel. (Please note that lunches are not included in the price of the holiday). Once we arrive back at our hotel, we will then have free time to relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits, followed by a Christmas Quiz. From 6.30 pm, we will be invited to the ballroom for a wine reception before enjoying our traditional Christmas Dinner in the restaurant, accompanied by live music.

Day 3 (Boxing Day): After breakfast, we depart our hotel and make our way to Godshill, a perfect English Village which boasts some of the oldest architecture on the Island. After Godshill, we then travel on to Newport, the capital of the Island, where we will have free time to explore before we make our way back to our hotel. Upon arrival at our hotel, we will have free time to relax in the lounge or ballroom with a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of Christmas Cake. Evening: We will have a relaxing evening in the hotel with plenty of time to enjoy our evening meal in the restaurant before the evening entertainment.

Day 4 (New Years Eve): After breakfast, we will have free time to explore the beautiful bay of Sandown before enjoying a relaxing afternoon in the lounge where tea, coffee, and Stollen will be served. On our last night of our holiday, we will be able to enjoy a candlelit dinner before our live entertainment in the ballroom.

Day 5 (New Years Day): After breakfast, we sadly depart The Trouville Hotel and make our way to Fishbourne to board our ferry back to Portsmouth. From Portsmouth, we travel on to our lunchtime stop at Chichester before we make our way back home to our local area.
