After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to the Coronation Street Experience where we will be welcomed to the exhilarating world of the street where laughter and heart-wrenching story lines have captured audiences for over 60 years! Venture inside crafted replica sets of Roy’s Rolls and the iconic Rovers Return or step into the world of nostalgia to continue the journey down memory lane and discover props and costumes that bring Coronation Street to life. Get the camera’s ready as we are taken behind the scenes!

After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to the picture postcard town of Holmfirth situated in the breathtaking Holme Valley. Popular with walkers and wildlife lovers and renowned for being the filming location for the TV classic “Last of the Summer Wine”.

With its quaint charm and impressive scenery we will see why this was the perfect location and the perfect place to enjoy a coffee in Sid’s Café! After our free time of exploring Holmfirth we return back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

After breakfast we sadly say goodbye to the Mercure Norton Grange Hotel & Spa with our happy memories of our fun packed weekend and make our way back to our local area stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops.
