Day 1:
Depart our local area and make our way to The Buchanan Arms Hotel in Drymen near Loch Lomond, stopping en route for comfort and refreshment stops, arriving in time to enjoy our evening meal and evening entertainment.
Day 2 (Christmas Eve):
After breakfast, we depart our hotel and make our way to Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh. Here we will have ample time to explore this marvelous city and take in the Festive Spirit which Edinburgh has to offer with its amazing Christmas Market and attractions nestled beneath Edinburgh Castle. After our free time, we make our way back to our hotel in time to refresh before our evening meal and festive entertainment.
Day 3 (Christmas Day):
After breakfast, we depart our hotel for a tour of the beautiful scenery of the Trossachs with a visit to Callander and Kilmahog before enjoying a winter wonderland cruise on Loch Katrine (weather dependent). After our cruise, we return back to our hotel, arriving in time to refresh before our traditional Christmas dinner and a visit from Father Christmas, followed by our evening of festive entertainment.
Day 4 (Hogmanay):
After breakfast, we depart our hotel for our excursion to Antatex Village, where we will have ample time for some retail therapy before we continue our journey up the side of Loch Lomond, stopping at the picturesque village of Luss. After some free time in Luss, we then return back to our hotel in time to refresh before our 4-course meal, including Haggis & Whiskey sauce with a traditional addressing of the Haggis, Bagpipes & Highland dancing for the start of our Ceilidh Night.
Day 5:
After breakfast, we sadly depart The Buchanan Arms Hotel and make our way back home to our local area with fond memories of Scotland, stopping en route for refreshment and comfort stops.
