After breakfast, we depart our hotel and make our way to Trago Mills where we will be spoilt for choice with all the bargains they have to offer within this Mill. After a little bit of retail therapy, we then make our way to the village of Widecombe, the prettiest village in the Moor, before we continue our journey onto Buckfast Abbey, a living Benedictine Monastery famous for its extraordinary history and tranquil atmosphere. Here we will be able to enjoy a delicious Cream Tea before exploring the wonderful Abbey and its stunning grounds. After our exploring, we then make our way back to our hotel in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

After breakfast, we depart our hotel and make our way to the beautiful harbour town of Dartmouth, a town full of Maritime Heritage. Here we will have some free time to explore the charming historic streets, art galleries, and independent shops before making our way to the fascinating historical town of Totnes. Once we arrive in Totnes, we will have ample time to enjoy the lined streets of historical buildings, take a look around the excellent range of small independent retailers and unique shops, or stop for a spot of lunch in the array of restaurants, cafés, and pubs. After our afternoon of exploring, we return back to our hotel, arriving in time to refresh before our evening meal.

After breakfast, we depart our hotel for our morning visit to the picturesque fishing town of Brixham. Here we will have free time to admire the narrow lanes lined with color-washed houses, take a look around the quaint little craft shops, or stop for a coffee in one of the many cafés. After our morning visit, we return back to our hotel for free time in Paignton or an afternoon of pure relaxation in the hotel’s leisure suite where we can take advantage of the hotel’s swimming pool, sauna, and steam room.

After breakfast, we sadly say goodbye to The Palace Hotel with fond memories of our stay in Paignton and make our way back to our local area, stopping en route for comfort and refreshment stops.
