Exploring the beautiful coast line of Babbacombe and its surrounding areas this tour includes a boat cruise following an unspoilt stretch of coastline revealing 185 million years of Earth’s history, a visit to the stunning coast town of Teignmouth, a visit to the pretty village of Widecombe in the Moor and time to explore the traditional British seaside resort of Torquay as well as a free day in Babbacombe – the jewel in the crown of the English Riviera.

Schedule
Day 1: We depart our local area and make our way to The Babbacombe Hotel stopping en route for comfort and refreshments stops before we arrive at our hotel in time for our evening meal.
Day 2: After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Exmouth to meet our boat for a cruise to Old Harry Rocks near Swanage taking in the unspoilt stretch of coastline which reveals a unique geological portrait of 185 million years of the Earth’s history exposed in dramatic cliffs, secluded caves, coastal stacks and barrier beaches. After our cruise we then continue our journey onto the stunning coastal town of Teignmouth where you will have free time to explore the historic Georgian buildings, long sandy beaches and have a bite to eat. After exploring Teignmouth we then make our way back to the hotel in time to refresh and enjoy our evening meal.
Day 3: After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to the beautiful market town of Bovey Tracey where we will be stopping at the House of Marbles to explore a 4000 year history of glass including how its made and the development of techniques over the centuries and browse a vast collection of marbles including every marble they have manufactured. After our visit we then continue our journey onto the pretty village of Widecombe in the Moor for a brief visit via Haytor and Saddletor before making our way to the ever- popular traditional British seaside resort of Torquay where you will have some free time to explore before we make our way back to our hotel in time for our evening meal.
Day 4: After breakfast we will have a free day to relax in the hotel or explore Babbacombe – the jewel in the crown of the English Riviera. Why not take a visit to the Model Village, or take a ride on the Cliff Railway or even catch a few rays on the beautiful beaches of Babbacombe. After your free time you will have plenty of time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.
Day 5: After breakfast we sadly say goodbye to The Babbacombe Hotel and make our way back home with some lovely cherished memories of our visit to Babbacombe stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops.
