With visits to the picturesque postcard town of Totnes, a half day excursion to Brixham – the gateway to the English Riviera and a full day exploring beautiful cathedral city of Exeter this is the perfect way to begin the New Year. Not forgetting the added bonus of a 50% bar from the hours of 19.00-200Hrs every evening!
Schedule
Day 1: Depart our local area and make our way to the Babbacombe Hotel stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops before arriving at our hotel in plenty of time before our evening meal.
Day 2: After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Buckfast Abbey, a living Benedictine Monastery famous for its extraordinary history and tranquil atmosphere. Here we will have some free time to explore this wonderful Abbey and enjoy a morning coffee or tea in the monastery’s lovely cafeteria before making our way to the postcard pretty town of Totnes. Once we arrive in Totnes we will have ample time to explore and have a spot of lunch in the shadow of the impressive Totnes Castle. After our free time we return back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.
Day 3: After breakfast we depart our hotel for our half day excursion to Brixham – the gateway to the English Riviera where we will have ample time to explore this beautiful harbour town and enjoy a morning tea or coffee before returning back to our hotel for a free afternoon to relax or explore Babbacombe – the Jewel in the Crown of the Riviera. After our free time we will have plenty of time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.
Day 4: After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Exeter for some free time to explore this magnificent cathedral city. Here we will have plenty of time to explore, browse in the array of many shops and have a spot of lunch before we arrive back to our hotel in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.
Day 5: After breakfast we sadly say goodbye to the beautiful resort of Babbacombe and make our way back to our local area stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops.
