Come and discover the beauty of the western coast of Southern Ireland. Included in our busy schedule we will encounter the beauty of the Cliffs of Moher, Irelands most famous landscape, a one hour cruise on the River Shannon and Lough Derg as well as a full day to explore the wild bohemian city of Galway. Day 1:

We depart our local area and make our way to Pembroke to board our ferry to Rosslare, Southern Ireland stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops. Once we arrive in Rosslare we make our way to our overnight hotel – the Maldron Hotel in Wexford arriving in time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 2:

After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Cahir a pretty Irish town and home to Cahir castle. Here we will have some free time to explore and have a spot of lunch before continuing our journey to Banratty Castle, Irelands’ most complete and authentic castle along with its Living Folk Village featuring over 30 buildings of that time. Within the village we will be able to admire the brightly coloured shops, Bunratty House – a fine example of a Georgian residence built in 1804 as well as MacNamara & Sons Public house – a fully licensed working pub in the style of an old fashioned hotel bar as well as enjoying the sounds of traditional Irish music and village characters. After our fun packed afternoon we make our way to our main stay hotel the Falls Hotel & Spa in Ennistymon arriving in time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 3:

After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to the Cliffs of Moher, Irelands most famous landscape. Here we will board our ferry to see the very best views of the staggering height of the rock face of these wonderful cliff’s that run along the coast of Clare for almost 8 miles. Whilst on the ferry we will enjoy a running commentary of the history, pass the cave that was used in “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” and if we are lucky enough we might spot some Puffins, Dolphins and seals. After our sailing we make our way to Doolin, the gateway to the ancient sites of Aran islands and home of the traditional Irish music. Here we will have free time to explore and have a spot of lunch or even treat yourself to an Irish Whisky in one of the local pubs. After our free time we return back to the hotel arriving in time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 4:

After breakfast we make our way to Killaloe for a one hour tranquil boat tour of the River Shannon and Lough Derg where we will be able to enjoy the stunning views and a journey through heritage and history. During our tour we will be entertained by local musicians whilst enjoying an alcoholic beveridge or Irish Coffee that can be purchased from the onboard bar. After our enjoyable boat ride you we have some free time in Killaloe for a spot of lunch before we continue our journey onto Mckernan Woollen Mill where we will be able to have a peek into the workshops and learn how designs from early concepts are transformed into hand finished pieces. We will also have ample time to browse the full range of woolen and knitted accessories in the Mill Shop before returning back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 5:

After breakfast we make our way to the wild bohemian city of Galway where the spirit of Ireland’s west coast beats through the bustling streets. Here we will have a full day to wander the historic cobbled alleyways, walk the coastal promenade, take a stroll over on the River Corrib’s four bridges and enjoy a spot of lunch in one of the many lively pubs whilst enjoying some traditional Irish music. After our full day of exploring this magnificent city we return back to our hotel arriving in time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 6:

After breakfast we sadly say goodbye to the Fall Hotel and make our way to our overnight hotel the Maldron Hotel stopping enroute at Adare – Irelands most prettiest village, Cahir for our lunchtime stop and ending our day at Waterford Crystal – home of some of the most stunning crystal ranges. After our visit to Waterford Cystal we make our way to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 7:

Today we sadly say goodbye to Southern Ireland with many happy memories of this magical place and board our early ferry back to Pembroke. Once we arrive back in Pembroke we continue our journey back to our local area stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops.
