Schedule
Day 1: We depart our local area and make our way to Dover to board our ferry to Dunkirk. Upon arrival we then continue our journey to our overnight hotel stopping enroute for comfort and refreshement stops and arriving in time for our evening meal.
Day 2: After breakfast we depart our overnight hotel and make our way to Passau where we will board our premium floating hotel, MS Viva two to enjoy our fun packed 7 day cruise on the pristine waters of the River Danube.
Day 3: Discover historic statues, monuments, and buildings set around picturesque squares in one of Austria's oldest towns. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Krems is renowned for its vineyards and stunning landscapes.
Day 4: Experience Vienna's superlative charm with a city tour, passing iconic landmarks like the State Opera and Hofburg. Enjoy free time at St. Stephen's Cathedral and a leisurely stroll along Kärntner Strasse, capturing the essence of medieval Vienna.
Day 5: Explore both Buda and Pest (the West and East banks) on a city tour, from Gellert Hill's panoramic views to Matthias Church and the charming old town. Cross the Chain Bridge, pass Heroes' Square, and admire the neo-Gothic Parliament Building.
Day 6: This historic town is known for its impressive 19th century fortress system, Roman ruins and thermal baths in a charming riverside setting.
Day 7: Discover Bratislava's Gothic-Baroque old town and its rich history at the border triangle. Enjoy a tour and taste Slovak beer, experiencing the blend of tradition and modern restoration efforts.
Day 8: Journey through time at Melk's baroque monastery, featuring the Prelate's Court, imperial chambers, Marble Hall, and a world-renowned library.
Day 9: After breakfast we disembark our boat with fond memories of our time spent on the River Danube and meet our tour coach to transfer us to our overnight hotel stopping enroute for comfort stops and arriving in time for our evening meal.
Day 10: After breakfast we depart our overnight hotel and make our way to Dunkirk to board our ferry to Dover. Upon arrival in Dover we continue our journey back to our local area.
