Visiting the beautiful market town of Keswick, a boat tour of Derwent Water, A Steam and Cream Train ride and a little hop over the Scottish Border to Gretna Green this magnificent 5 day tour covers it all!
Schedule
Day 1: We depart our local area and make our way to The King Robert Hotel in Stirling stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops and arriving at our hotel in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.
Day 2: After breakfast we will have a leisurely morning to chill before enjoying our lunch time meal at our hotel. After lunch we then make our way into Edinburgh for some free time to explore this magnificent city before heading to Edinburgh Castle to enjoy the spectacular evening performance of the Edinburgh Tattoo. After our evening performance we board our coach and make our way back to our hotel.
Day 3: After breakfast and a leisurely morning we depart our hotel and make our way to the Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway to board our afternoon steam train for a 10 mile scenic return journey to Manuel along the Forth Estuary, through woodlands, past waterfalls and over the Avon Viaduct whilst enjoying an afternoon tea of freshly made sandwiches, cakes and scones with tea and coffee. After our relaxing afternoon we return back to our hotel in time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.
Day 4: After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way back to our local area stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops.
