A tour full of beauty beyond belief taking in the stunning scenery of the Trossachs and the Lowlands of Scotland including a cruise on the steamship Sir Walter Scott whilst taking in the fantastic scenery of Loch Katrine. With visits to The Trossachs National Park and a day exploring Loch Lomond as well as a cream tea whilst enjoying a scenic Steam Train journey and a chance to taste the fine whisky of Glengoyne Distillery you will certainly be coming home with many happy memories of Bonnie Scotland.

Schedule
Day 1: Depart our local area and make our way to the King Robert Hotel, Stirling stopping enroute for refreshment and comfort stops and arriving in time at our hotel for our evening meal.
Day 2: After breakfast and a leisurely morning we depart our hotel and make our way to the Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway to board our afternoon steam train for a ten mile scenic return journey to Manuel along the Forth Estuary, through woodlands, past waterfalls and over the Avon viaduct whilst enjoying an afternoon tea of freshly made sandwiches, cakes and scones with tea and coffee. After our relaxing afternoon we return back to our hotel in time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.
Day 3: After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to The Kelpies, the largest equine sculptures in the world. Standing at 100ft tall and weighing more than 300 tones each the magical Kelpies are a man-made wonder and a feature of engineering. Here we will have free time for a short wander and a chance to take a few photos before we make our way to one of Scotland’s famous landmark “The Falkirk Wheel”. Connecting the Forth and Clyde Canals with the Union Canal and the world’s only rotating boat lift of its kind in the world raising 35 metres into the air is certainly an experience not to be missed. Here you will have an opportunity to experience a ride on the rotating boat lift as well as free time to explore before we depart and make our way back to our hotel in time to enjoy our evening meal.
Day 4: After breakfast we depart our hotel for our full day of exploring the magnificent scenery of Loch Lomond stopping at Antartex Shopping Village for a comfort stop before continuing our journey up the side of Loch Lomond, taking in the route of the popular TV series “Take the High Road” before arriving at the pretty village of Luss for our lunchtime stop. Day 5: After breakfast we depart our hotel for a day of exploring the Trossachs National Park beginning with a cruise around Loch Katrine on board the Sir Walter Scott Steamship to enjoy the stunning sites of the atmospheric Ben Venue and Ellen’s Isle to the historic site of Queen Victoria’s Royal Cottage. After our relaxing cruise we continue our journey onto Kilmahog to visit The Trossachs Woollen Mill and the home to three beautiful Highland Cows – Hamish Dubh, Honey & Baxter. After our time at the Woollen Mill we make our way to the pretty town of Callender for some free time to explore before returning back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.
Day 6: After breakfast we sadly say a fond farewell to Scotland with some amazing memories of the beauty we have encountered during our tour and make our way back home stopping for refreshment and comfort stops.
