After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to North Yorkshire’s traditional market town of Thirsk where we will have the morning to explore the charming cobbled market square dominated by the Gothic-style clock tower or visit the famous “World of James Herriot” Museum. After our morning of exploring we continue our journey onto the cathedral city of Ripon where we will have ample time to embrace the beauty of the magnificent historical buildings, admire the stunning gothic cathedral or wander through the thriving marketplace and small streets offering a diverse range of specialist shops. Afterwards we return back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.

After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to the boutique spa town of Harrogate, Yorkshire’s most elegant destination. Recognized for its reputation and indulgence with its superb spas, original Turkish Baths, calming atmosphere and spectacular architecture and art galleries. Here we will have ample time to explore before returning back to our hotel in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

After breakfast we have a free day to explore the medieval walled city of York. Visit the 2000 year old gothic halls of its cathedral, take in the beauty of the 13th century timbered streets of the Shambles or journey through the Viking past and discover what life was like in the 10th century. The choice is endless! After our free time exploring there will be plenty of time to relax before refreshing and enjoying our evening meal.

After breakfast we depart our hotel with happy memories and make our way home stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops.
