Come and enjoy the pre-Christmas festivities at the Livermead Cliff Hotel in Torquay. Indulge in a traditional Christmas day dinner as well as a delicious Afternoon Tea made with Homemade scones. Buy that perfect gift from the magnificent Torquay market or Trago Mills or be dazzled by a festive illuminated steam train ride or the pretty lights of Babbacombe Model Village. What a lovely way to end our 2025 Christmas season.
Schedule
Day 1 (Christmas Eve): We depart our local area and make our way to the Livermead Cliff Hotel in Torquay stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops. Upon arrival at our hotel we will be checked into our rooms to refresh before our Christmas Drinks Reception in the Lounge, evening dinner and an enjoyable evening of entertainment.
Day 2 (Christmas Day): After breakfast we will have a leisurely morning to relax before enjoying an Afternoon Cream Tea with Homemade Scones. After our indulgence we will have time to refresh before our visit of Father Christmas and our Traditional Christmas Day Dinner and a relaxing evening in the Bar Lounge area.
Day 3 (Boxing Day): After breakfast we depart our hotel for a morning excursion to Trago Mills at Newton Abbot to purchase a bargain or two before returning back to our hotel to enjoy an Afternoon Tea served with Homemade Biscuits. After our afternoon tea we depart the hotel and make our way to Paignton to board our festive illuminated steam train decorated with thousands of lights both inside and out. Our journey will take us passed the enchanting forest transformed by a multitude of spectacular festive displays and end at Kingswear where we will have the opportunity to disembark and take some photos before continuing our journey back to Paignton to board our coach back to the hotel arriving in time to enjoy our evening meal.
Day 4 (New Year's Eve): After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Torquay where we will have ample time to purchase that perfect gift at Torquay’s Christmas market and have a spot of lunch before continuing our journey to Babbacombe Model Village to enjoy the magical illuminations and the delightful miniature seasonal scenes. After our time in the model village we return back to our hotel in time for our evening meal and entertainment.
Day 5: After breakfast we sadly say a fond farewell to the Livermead Cliff Hotel and make our journey back home stopping enroute for refreshment and comfort stops.
