Come and celebrate the New Year in with us where there is no better place to be than the fantastic Livermead Cliff Hotel. They certainly know how to celebrate in style with a drinks and canapes reception, Cream Tea, 5 Course New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner and of course the best New Year’s Eve celebrations in the “Riviera Suite”. The perfect way to say goodbye 2025 and hello 2026!
Schedule
Day 1: We depart our local area and make our way to the Livermead Cliff Hotel stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops and arriving at the hotel in plenty of time to refresh before our drinks and canapes reception hosted in the lounge by the hotel’s management team. After our reception we make our way into the dining room to enjoy our evening meal before our evening entertainment in the lounge.
Day 2: After breakfast we have a leisurely morning to relax before making our way into the lounge area to enjoy a delicious afternoon cream tea. After our indulgence we then make our way into Paignton to board our illuminated steam train decorated with thousands of lights both inside and out. Our journey will take us passed the enchanting forest transformed by a multitude of spectacular festive displays and end at Kingswear where we will have the opportunity to disembark and take some photos before continuing our journey back to Paignton to board our coach back to the hotel arriving in time to enjoy our evening meal.
Day 3: After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Exeter for some free time to explore this magnificent cathedral city or purchase a few New Years Eve bargains in the array of many shops. After our free time of exploring we return back to our hotel to relax in the lounge and enjoy Tea, Coffee and Cake before putting our “glad rags” on to enjoy our 5 course gala dinner and dancing the night away in the “Riviera Suite” to your favourite songs from the hotels resident entertainer “Dave” with Torchlight procession and “Ode to the Haggis”. At Midnight everything stops for the chimes of Big Ben and Auld Lang Syne!
Day 4: After a night of celebrating and welcoming 2026 we will have a leisurely breakfast and a relaxing morning before making our way into the lounge late afternoon to enjoy Tea, Coffee and homemade fancy cakes. After an enjoyable afternoon we will have plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal, entertainment and tea in the lounge.
Day 5: After breakfast we sadly say a fond farewell to the Livermead Cliff Hotel with fond memories of our New Year celebrations and return back to our local area stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops. Happy New Year to you all Love Lee and Carole x
