Schedule

Day 1: We depart our local area and make our way to Dover to board our ferry over to France. Once we arrive in France we then continue our journey to our main stay hotel Bellevue Rheinhotel in Boppard stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops arriving in time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 2: After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Klobenz, Germany’s oldest and most beautiful cities. Here we will have free time to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and visit Deutsches Eck “The German Corner” to see the spectacular views of the crossing point of the Mosel and Rhine River. After our free time we continue our journey to Cochem, one of the most picturesque towns of the Moselle Valley dominated by its extravagant fairytale Gothic Castle where we will have some free time to explore before continuing our journey to Anton Hammes Winery. A beautiful Winery situated on the Moselle in Alken here we will be able to enjoy the cosy atmosphere whilst tasting wines from some of the top Alken locations. After our tasting session we return back to our hotel in time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 3: After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to board our boat at Boppard for a relaxing cruise on the Rhine to Sankt Goarhausen where we will be met by our coach to continue our journey to Rudersheim. Here we will have ample time to explore Germany’s most popular and liveliest Rhine River town including Drosselgasse – the most famous street in Germany, a narrow lane packed with half-timbered wine taverns, bars, restaurants and shops. If you are more adventurous maybe take a cable car ride and admire the spectacular views of this magnificent town or visit Niederwald Monument, a ten metre statue of Germania, one of Germany’s most famous landmarks the choice is endless. After our afternoon of exploring we return back to our hotel arriving in time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 4: After breakfast we have a free day to explore the most picturesque town in the region, Boppard. Home to a magnificent Romanesque Church and a wealth of half-timbered houses to admire. It is also close to the best views in the Rhine Valley, which you can reach via a chairlift from the town. After our free day we will have plenty of time to relax and refresh before our evening meal.

Day 5: After breakfast we sadly say goodbye to Boppard with some beautiful memories of this stunning region of Germany and make our way to board our ferry back to Dover stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops. Once we arrive in Dover we continue our journey back to our local area.
