Introducing our second solo traveller holiday where this time we will be exploring the beauty of the Cotswolds’. Visiting the “Jewel of the Cotswolds’” Broadway, Burford, Chipping Norton and Stow-on-the-Wold as well as enjoying a scenic Steam Train journey and indulging in a delicious cream tea. Come and be captivated by Cotswolds’ beauty!

Schedule
Day 1: We depart our local area and make our way to the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Swindon stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops before arriving at our hotel in plenty of time for our evening meal.
Day 2: After breakfast we make our way to the spa town of Cheltenham where we will have some free time to explore before boarding our Steam Train to Broadway to enjoy a journey through some of Cotswolds’ most spectacular scenery taking in views of the nearby sleepy hamlets and villages with outstanding outlooks across to the Malvern Hills and beyond. Once we arrive in Broadway often referred to as the Jewel of the Cotswolds’ we will have ample time to enjoy the pretty high street lined with horse chestnut trees and picturesque honey coloured Cotswold stone cottages or have a spot of lunch in one of the many great eateries or even take a visit to Broadway’s museum. After our time exploring we return back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.
Day 3: After breakfast we depart our hotel for an enjoyable day touring the Cotswolds’ with a morning visit to the pretty historic town of Burford known for its famous High Street that sweeps downhill towards the River Windrush, its three arched medieval bridge and impressive church. Here we will have some free time before continuing our journey taking in the beauty of Chipping Norton, Moreton-in-Marsh and finishing in Stow on the Wold where we will enjoy a delicious Cream Tea in Cotswolds’ Premier bakery and tearoom – Huffkins. After our indulgence we take a leisurely drive back to our hotel arriving in time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.
Day 4: After breakfast we sadly say goodbye to the Cotswolds’ with fond memories and make our way back to our local area stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops.
