Step back in time and join us on this exclusive tour which includes 1 night saty at The Royal marine Club Hotel in Portsmouth with leisure facilities. A Visit to the “D Day Story” Museum with free time in Southsea. A full day at the Southwick Revival where you will be given exclusive access inside Southwick House and be informed all about the planning of D Day and be shown the famous D Day Wall Map. Entry into the RMP Museum along with free time to explore the village set in wartime. With so much going on a truly memorable weekend.

Schedule
Day 1: We depart our local area and make our way to our first destination the “D Day Story” museum situated in Southsea stopping en route for refreshments and comfort stops. The D-Day Story focusses on the liberation of Europe from Nazi Germany occupation. It is told using the personal possessions and words of the people who took part with stunning imagery, audio-visual presentations, authentic vehicles and hands-on interactives help to bring the story to life. Based on ordinary people working together to achieve the extraordinary, The D-Day Story features the experiences of men, women and children. After your visit you will have free time to explore Southsea before we make our short journey to our overnight hotel in time for our evening meal
Day 2: After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Southwick where we will be greeted by the chairman of the revival. You will then join wartime shuttle busses that will transfer you to Southwick House, still an active MOD base. Here you will have “EXCLUSIVE” access to the famous “D Day Wall Map” with a 45 min introduction all about the goings on on D Day. You will then visit the RMP Museum within Southwick Park. Upon your return to the village by bus you will feel like you have stepped back in time with the whole village being set in wartime England. With celebrity speakers, sing a long bands, wartime food & drink stalls, military vehicle processions, re-enactments and much much more you will be sure to have a memorable day. After our memorable day we sadly make our journey back home.
