After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Buckfast Abbey, a living Benedictine Monastery famous for it’s extraordinary history and tranquil atmosphere. Here we will have free time to explore this wonderful Abbey, see the breathtaking Stained Glass windows and stroll through the beautiful gardens. After our time exploring we then continue our journey to the fascinating historic town of Totnes where we will have ample time to explore and stop for a bite to eat in one of the many café’s in the shadow of the impressive Totnes Castle. After our free time in Totnes we return back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Trago Mills where you will be spoilt for choice with all the bargain’s they have to offer in the many shopping departments within this Mill. After a little bit of retail therapy we then make our way to Kents Cavern – a spectacular natural cave with an incredible history that began 400 million years ago. Here you will embark on a guided tour giving an insight into ice age life, naturally formed chambers and stunning geological formations. After our tour we make our way to the onsite restaurant overlooking the beautiful llsham Valley to indulge in a delicious cream tea. After our fun packed day we return back to our hotel in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

After breakfast we make our way to Brixham the gateway to the English Riviera where we will have free time to explore this beautiful harbour town. After our free time we return back to the hotel for a leisurely afternoon to explore Paignton or even walk the historic Paignton Pier before refreshing for our evening meal.

After breakfast we sadly say goodbye to The Palace Hotel with fond memories and make our way back to our local area stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops.
