Day 2:
We depart our overnight hotel and make our way to Holyhead to board our ferry to enjoy our onboard breakfast whilst making our way to Dublin. Upon arrival in Dublin we continue our journey onto Belfast to our main stay hotel – The Stormont Hotel arriving in plenty of time to settle and refresh before enjoying our evening meal.
Day 3:
After breakfast we depart our hotel for our coach guided tour of the industrious and fascinating city of Belfast – the capital of Northern Ireland. Our tour will begin with a tour of the city’s four quarters, taking in the City Hall, Queen’s University, the Opera House and the Botanic gardens before having some free time to explore and having a spot of lunch. After lunch we make our way to Titanic Belfast to enjoy our Titanic Experience tour where we will uncover the sights, sounds, smells and stories of the ship, as well as discover the world-famous story through the eyes of those whose hard work and ambition built her. After our tour we return to our hotel to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.
Day 4:
After breakfast we depart our hotel for a rare treat of visiting the King’s official residence in Northern Ireland – Hillsborough Castle where we will enjoy a guided tour of this elegant mansion and indulge in the delicious Scones and tea served before continuing our time exploring the stunning gardens and grounds. After our time at Hillsborough Castle we continue our journey to Downpatrick, home to a dedicated Visitor Centre reflecting the life of Ireland’s Patron Saint, with his grave reputed to be in the grounds of the adjoining Cathedral. After our time in Downpatrick we return back to our hotel arriving in time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.
Day 5:
After breakfast we take Antrim Coast Road to enjoy the unspoilt views of the Irish Sea and Glens of Antrim before arriving at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Giant’s Causeway, famous for its unique volcanic stone pillars and shrouded in folklore and fairy tales. After our time at Giant Causeway we return back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.
Day 6:
After breakfast we sadly say goodbye to the Stormont Hotel and make our way to our overnight hotel – the Brandon House Hotel in New Ross stopping at Dublin – the capital of the Republic of Ireland where we will have some free time to enjoy the buzzing atmosphere of Dublin’s streets with its vibrant art and historic buildings, hip cafes and traditional Irish pubs. After our time exploring we make our way to our hotel arriving in time to refresh before our evening meal.
Day 7:
We depart our overnight hotel and make our way to Rosslare to board our ferry back to Fishguard. Whilst onboard we will enjoy a tasty breakfast there will be time to relax before arriving at Fishguard where we will continue our journey onto our local area stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops.
