The Great Norfolk Getaway
18th – 22nd April 2022
This festive 5-day tour is situated on a beach front of Eastbourne. This tour will include a full traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, Christmas cake, light bufets, evening entertainment and a half-day visit to Alfriston.
Day 1: Depart our local area and travel to the beautiful Norfolk Coast for our 4 night stay at The Burlington Palm Court Hotel stopping on route for comfort and refreshments.
Day 2: After breakfast we board our coach and make our way to the medieval City of Norwich for some free time to wander its cobbled streets as well as admiring its historical and amazing architecture or perhaps explore its famous market known to be one of the oldest and largest outdoor markets with its attractive and vibrant mix of food, crafts, flowers and much much more. After our free time in Norwich we board our coach and make our way back to our hotel arriving in good time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.
Day 3: After breakfast we board our coach for a full day exploring the enchanting and scenic Norfolk Broads with its shallow lakes and rivers, scattered with picturesque villages and market towns. Our first visit will be to Potter Heigham where we will have some free time to explore or have a coffee before continuing our journey to Wroxham and neighbouring Hoveton known as “The Capital of the Broads”. Here you will have ample time to explore before we board the coach and make our way to Horning to catch our afternoon cruise aboard the Mississippi Paddle Boat for some leisurely time on the water. Once back on dry land we then head back to our hotel arriving in good time for our evening meal.
Day 4: After breakfast we will have free time to explore the sea side resort of Great Yarmouth or relax in our hotel and take the opportunity to take a plunge in the hotels heated indoor swimming pool.
Day 5: After breakfast we board our coach and sadly depart our hotel with fond memories of the Norfolk Broads and make our way back home with comfort and refreshments stops on route.
