You will be staying at the Best Western Burn Hall Hotel situated in the heart of Yorkshire. This picturesque 5 day tour includes daytrips to the Ancient City of York, the pretty village of Thornton-Le-Dale, a train ride into the popular resort of Whitby and a night life visit of Scarborough.
Schedule
Day 1: Depart our local area and make our way to our The Best Western Burn Hall Hotel stopping on route for refreshment and comfort stops.
Day 2: After breakfast, we make our way to the Ancient City of York. Here we will have plenty of free time to explore the many attractions York has to offer including York Minster, The Shambles – one of UK’s most historic streets or visit the famous National Railway Museum uncovering 300 years of railway history. The choice is endless. After exploring this beautiful City we head back to our hotel in time for our evening meal.
Day 3: After breakfast, we begin our day by visiting the pretty village of Thornton-Le-Dale where we will be able to enjoy scenic walks past thatched cottages and idyllic gardens. From here we then take a scenic route over the North York Moors to Goathland (known as Heartbeat Country) where we will board our train to take a trip to the ever popular resort of Whitby. After our free time in Whitby we then make our way back to the hotel to enjoy our evening meal.
Day 4: After breakfast, we will have free time to relax in the hotel to recover after our busy few days of exploring before we head out for the evening for a night life visit to one of UK’s top tourist destinations, Scarborough. After our evening visit we head back to our hotel for some well earnt sleep.
Day 5: After a not so early breakfast we say farewell to our hotel with fond memories and make our journey back home stopping on route for comfort and refreshment stops.
