After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Maastricht. Here we will have free time to explore this vibrant cultural city with medieval architecture and its cobbled old town along with its own Christmas Market in Vrijthof Square one of the largest in the Netherlands. After our free time exploring the delights of this magical city we return back to our hotel in time for our evening meal.

After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to the beautiful German town of Monschau just over the Belgian border. This idyllic little town is known for its half-timbered houses and narrow cobblestone streets making it the perfect setting for a Christmas Market which has been voted one of the best in Germany. Here we will have ample time to explore and take in the pre-Christmas spirit before returning back to our hotel in time for our evening meal.

After breakfast we will be greeted at our hotel by a local guide who will escort us on a guided walking tour of central Valkenburg before having free time to explore the Valkenburg Christmas Markets. Experience the unique underground enchantment in the caves with the coziest stalls and charming lights. The whole town is decked out in Christmas Spheres – a truly magical town. After our free time exploring all that Valkenburg has to offer we can make our way back to our hotel in time to refresh before our evening meal.

After breakfast we sadly depart our hotel in Holland and make our way back to France in time to catch our ferry back to Dover stopping enroute for comfort and refreshments with magical memories of this amazing trip.
