After breakfast and a leisurely morning we depart our hotel and make our way to Skipton to board our canal boat for a 2 hour cruise along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal where we will enjoy the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales whilst indulging in a delicious afternoon tea consisting of Sandwiches, Scones, Cakes and tea and coffee. After our leisurely cruise we will have some free time to explore the historical town of Skipton, steeped in immense history and rich culture. After our free time exploring we return back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to the historical city of York where we will have plenty of time to explore this magnificent medieval world surrounded by its ancient walls, dominated by the finest Gothic Church in northern Europe – York Minster and of course not forgetting the narrow streets of “The Shambles” featuring preserved medieval buildings with many timber-framed buildings with jettied floors overhanging the street by several feet. After our full day of taking in the magnificent sites we return back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

After breakfast we will have a free day to explore the boutique spa town of Harrogate, Yorkshire’s most elegant destination. Recognized for its reputation of being the perfect place for relaxation and indulgence with its superb spas, original Turkish Baths, calming atmosphere and spectacular architecture and art galleries. After our free day of exploring we will return back to the hotel to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.

After breakfast we sadly say goodbye to the Crown Hotel and make our way back home stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops.
