Day 2: (Christmas Day)

After breakfast we depart our hotel for a full day excursion visiting the sister seaside resort of Whitby where we will have ample free time to explore before returning back to our hotel via the coastal route arriving in time for our Traditional Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings followed by light evening entertainment.

Day 3: (Christmas Day)

After breakfast we depart our hotel for a full day excursion visiting the historic city of York where you will have ample free time to explore the magnificent Cathedral as well as the opportunity to visit the best reserved medieval streets in Europe known as “The Shambles”. After our eventful day we then make our way back to our hotel in time for a chef’s hot and cold buffet served with tea or coffee followed by light evening entertainment.

Day 4: (New Years Eve)

After breakfast we will have a day at leisure to relax in the hotel or to explore the bustling seaside resort of Scarborough. Nearby the hotel Peasholm Park Japanese Gardens can be found which is well worth a visit to explore this oriental themed municipal park. Your evening will consist of a buffet dinner with tea or coffee followed by light entertainment.

Day 5:

After breakfast we depart our hotel to make our journey home firstly stopping off at Bridlington also known as the “Lobster Capital Of Europe”. After some leisure time here we then continue our journey home stopping en route for comfort and refreshment breaks.
