Day 2:

After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to the multi award winning open air museum, Beamish which tells the story of life in North East England during the 1820’s, 1900’s, 1940’s and 1950’s.  After our full day of exploring Beamish we make our way back to our hotel in time to refresh and enjoy our evening meal.

Day 3:

After breakfast, we depart our hotel for a full-day excursion to Alnwick Castle.  The second-largest inhabited castle in the UK with over 950 years of history to discover. Here we will have plenty of time to delve deeper into the extraordinary history and travel through the centuries of this living, evolving castle.  After our exploring we return back to our hotel in time to refresh and enjoy our evening meal.

Day 4:

After breakfast we depart our hotel for a full day exploring the Northumberland coast taking in Seahouses ‘The Gateway to the Northumberland Coast and the Holy island, a mysterious tidal island.  After our full day we then return back to our hotel to refresh and enjoy our evening meal.

Day 5:

After breakfast we take a leisurely drive back to our local area stopping en route for comfort and refreshment stops.
